GoDaddy joins hands with SiteLock to protect websites

GoDaddy has joined hands with SiteLock, which uses the latest scanning techniques, to protect websites.

SiteLock scans websites for the latest malware, viruses, suspicious code, back doors, etc. and email the summary to website owners. SiteLock also automatically corrects problems.

Wayne Thayer Go Daddy

GoDaddy Vice President and General Manager, Security Products Wayne Thayer, said: “Security is more important than ever, and we partnered with SiteLock because we found SiteLock to provide the most advanced and complete security solution available.”

The scan uses an inside-and-out scanning technology to find malware, spam, SQL injections, cross-site scripting (XSS) and application vulnerabilities. Once a website passes the tests, a SiteLock Trust Seal, showing the website is secure, is available to display.
