Gemalto said it is delivering IoT smart data to emergency responders throughout the U.S. The company provides the service in a joint venture with Intrado, a provider of 9-1-1 technology solutions.
Gemalto’s cloud-based SensorLogic Application Enablement Platform collects data from remote sensors and transforms it into easy-to-use information. Intrado’s middleware automatically sends it to first responders via a secure web portal and SMS alerts.
Recently, Gemalto has been awarded the Intergraf ISO 14298 certification for its operation in Gdansk, Poland. As a result, the company said it can offer clients unrivaled business continuity and global supply chain integrity for the production of a wide range of innovative documents including ePassports and eID cards.
This facility in Poland joins other Gemalto sites in Brazil, Finland and Switzerland that have successfully completed the lengthy and exacting process of certification by Intergraf’s inspection team.
Gemalto recently said it will provide its mobile payment solutions to Dai Nippon Printing to realize secure mobile transactions.
DNP will operate Gemalto’s solutions, enabling its customers in payment segment to easily deploy tokenized mobile NFC services leveraging available mobile wallets and security frameworks.
