Gemalto said on Wednesday that its SafeNet ProtectV solution is available in the Azure Marketplace.
Azure Market is the online store that provides customers access to highly optimized and integrated applications and services ready to deploy in Microsoft Azure.
Research agency Gartner e said the market for cloud system infrastructure services (IaaS) worldwide is expected to grow to $42.7 billion by 2019.
“The ability to easily implement strong data protection and security in the cloud is a major factor for companies that are considering moving their sensitive workloads,” said Todd Moore, Vice President of data encryption product management at Gemalto.
Gemalto acquired SafeNet earlier this year. Its complete portfolio of SafeNet Identity and Data Protection solutions enables enterprises to take a data-centric approach to security by utilizing encryption methods, crypto management techniques, and authentication and identity management solutions.
In June, Gemalto joined hands with Orange Business Services for integrating Gemalto’s SafeNet Authentication Service with Business VPN Galerie, the Orange Business Services secured cloud hub.
