Former NetApp CFO Nick Noviello appointed as Blue Coat’s new CFO

Enterprise security vendor Blue Coat Systems appointed former NetApp chief financial officer Nick Noviello as its new CFO.

He will be responsible for leading the company’s finance, information technology, human resources, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.

Noviello replaced Gregg Hampton, who will now serve as senior vice president, business operations and will assist Noviello in the transition.

During his tenure, Hampton has led Blue Coat financial, manufacturing and order administration organizations through the last three years, including the acquisition by Bain Capital.

Noviello has over 20 years of leadership experience in financial and operational roles. At NetApp, which he joined in 2008, and was CFO for the last four years.

Prior to joining NetApp, Noviello spent eight years at Honeywell International, where he held operating business unit CFO roles, ran investor relations, and was a leader on the corporate mergers and acquisitions team.

Noviello is a Certified Public Accountant, and started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University and a Master of Science in Taxation from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
