F-Secure acquires security vendor nSense

F-Secure has acquired nSense, a privately held provider of security consultations and vulnerability assessment services to large enterprises.

The acquisition of Denmark-based nSense strengthens F-Secure’s position as a prominent security vendor globally and lays a foundation for the company’s growth as a cybersecurity leader.

nSense provides vulnerability scanning solution named Karhu to financial institutions, service providers and other large enterprises.

F-Secure CEO Christian Fredrikson said that the combined portfolio will allow F-Secure to provide top tier incident response and forensic expertise, vulnerability assessment, and threat intelligence and security management services to enterprises and businesses with critical IT infrastructure.
