Dell introduces new SonicWALL TZ Series

Dell has released new SonicWALL TZ series firewalls targeting small businesses and large, multi site distributed organizations.
New firewalls are designed to support faster internet speeds and to inspect encrypted SSL traffic.
Build around state-of-art multi core security processes, the new SonicWALL TZ series create highest performance, desktop form factor Unified Threat Management (UTM) firewall.
The new firewalls provides highest level of security to Dell customers as the new series have ability and processing power to inspect SSL connections.
The integrated wireless controller in the TZ series supports the 802.11 ac wireless standard and provides security for both small businesses and large distributed enterprises.
Additionally, the new TZ can also manage thousands of distributed TZ firewalls by leveraging the Dell SonicWALL Global Management System (GMS).
Company officials said the new innovation also delivers highly-effective anti-malware protection, intrusion prevention, content and URL filtering, application control, and secure mobile access for laptops, smartphones and tablets.
The new TZs provide secure mobile access to Google Android, Mac OS X, Kindle Fire and laptop users with the SonicWALL Mobile Connect unified client.
To scan every byte of every packet on all ports and protocols the new TZ series has patented reassembly-free deep packet inspection engine.
Dell will also help to reduce total cost of ownership with TZs graphical user interface.
The new Dell SonicWALL TZ Series firewalls are now available worldwide.
“The new TZs give small networks and small business locations the vital big enterprise capability of scanning encrypted traffic to ferret out malicious traffic and attacks,” said Patrick Sweeney, executive director, Dell Network Security.
Few days ago, Dell introduced new social analytics solutions to integrate data from multiple channels.
Last month, Dell launched its ISV-certified virtual workstation appliance solution, Dell Precision Appliance for Wyse.
