CSC expands managed security services to include Horizon

CSC has expanded its managed security services to include Horizon that addresses regulatory and compliance mandates for cybersecurity.

A recent IDC white paper — sponsored by EMC — said U.S. organizations must meet the requirements of more than 20 federal and state regulations regarding data protection and privacy.

CSC new Horizon solution streamlines the governance, risk and compliance (GRC) process for businesses by integrating data and reporting from existing cybersecurity controls into one easy-to-understand view.

“With heightened visibility into technology threats and vulnerabilities information, customers can increase the security of their organization while also saving time and money responding to compliance and regulatory demands,” said Samuel Visner, VP and GM, CSC Global Cybersecurity.

CSC says the solution’s customizable enterprise dashboard provides clients with real-time continuous monitoring of their cybersecurity status through the use of vulnerability analysis, exploit discovery, threat remediation and recovery services.

In addition, CSC’s Horizon service is managed through CSC’s global network of security operations centers, enabling organizations to rapidly deploy the capability without large capital budgets or recruitment of internal experts.

Horizon, based upon technology from the RSA Archer GRC platform, can be deployed in either traditional or cloud-enabled data centers, customized to meet individual client GRC needs, and scaled up as cybersecurity risks and available resources increase.
