Checkpoint adds CLASSIC N10 electronic article surveillance solution

Checkpoint retail solutions
Checkpoint Systems on Tuesday launched CLASSIC N10 electronic article surveillance (EAS) solution designed primarily for convenience stores with immediate availability.

Coupled with Checkpoint’s tagging solutions, CLASSIC N10 is made to protect a wide range of merchandise. Moreover, the company said the EAS serves as a perfect introduction for retailers with smaller store entrances and exits as well as other areas within the store where theft occurrence can be high.

The N10 works on Checkpoint’s latest generation of detection platforms and it carries a smaller, flexible antenna. Checkpoint said N10’s bright LED lit acrylic design acts as a highly effective visual deterrent for potential theft.

The N10 can be wall or door-frame mounted or sited on an optional free-standing floor mount. In addition, retailers can rotate the antenna in any direction, as well as spin and tuck it out of the way when needed.

In June, Checkpoint signed an agreement with BT to embed additional security capabilities into the latter’s global network, enabling customers to securely access cloud-based applications wherever they are hosted.
