Check Point plans R&D Centre in Bengaluru, India

Check Point Software Technologies announced the setting up of its first Asia-Pacific R&D Centre in Bengaluru, India, during the CPX Bangkok 2025 conference.

The move highlights the company’s commitment to cyber security innovation and leveraging India’s tech talent.

The Bengaluru R&D Centre will focus on core product development, including Check Point Quantum and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), enhancing enterprise security and connectivity.

The 42,700-square-foot facility, Check Point’s second-largest globally, will initially accommodate over 100 engineers.

Rajeev Koripalli, Vice President of R&D, India, will lead the initiative. The centre will play a key role in AI-driven threat prevention, security management, and cyber defense development.
