Check Point Software Technologies is leading the combined Firewall and UTM appliance revenue market in 2012 and Q1 2013, according to IDC.
Check Point has been the leader in the firewall market since 1993, while it entered the security appliance business in 2006.
IDC says Check Point is the leader in combined Firewall and UTM factory revenue in both the U.S. and Western Europe for both FY 2012 and Q1 2013.
