ARC Excess & Surplus taps EfficientIP to centrally manage DNS and DHCP

New York-based wholesale insurance brokerage company ARC Excess and Surplus has selected EfficientIP’s SOLIDserver DDI solution to manage its IP addresses, DNS, DHCP network services.

The solution allows the team at ARC Excess create and manage a customized IP plan for the network, while utilizing the built-in workflow capabilities to make concurrent administration easy. Sales and technical support were also a key part of the decision-making process for ARC Excess.

“EfficientIP’s solution allows us to ensure high availability for our network services and goes further by giving us a global visibility over our IP addresses and our DNS/DHCP servers. This allows us to manage them from a single central point,” said Joseph Cavallaro, CIO of ARC Excess.

In addition to enhanced features, functionality, and value for money ARC also needed to migrate their existing IPAM solution to the new system quickly and efficiently to allow them to benefit from an easier, intuitive, more flexible, and reliable solution, said company officials.
