A10 Networks expanded its portfolio of security solutions with Thunder Convergent Firewall.
The A10 Thunder Convergent Firewall is a dedicated security product that leverages the ACOS Harmony platform.
The enhanced product offers secure web gateway with integrated explicit proxy, URL filtering and SSL Insight. It enables security policy enforcement for client outbound HTTP/HTTPS traffic.
“Thunder Convergent Firewall provides a highly effective, highly scalable all-inclusive converged secured application network platform to protect organizations’ assets,”said Lee Chen, CEO of A10 Networks.
Among other benefits of the solution, data center firewall (DCFW) with integrated network denial-of-service (DoS) protection and Server Load Balancing (SLB). It provides Layer 4 stateful firewall and Layer 7 application-level gateway.
A10 Networks said the explosion of mobile devices and apps and the move to SDN, NFV and cloud is driving the need for a new type of firewall.
In August, Fujitsu Asia has selected A10 Thunder ADC solution to standardize its high-performance cloud load-balancing service, lower space and hardware costs and advanced network operator capabilities.
