Symantec India has appointed Shrikant Shitole as managing director for its enterprise security business.
Shitole, who will be based in Mumbai, will drive business growth by developing and delivering on business strategy. Shitole takes over from Sanjay Rohatgi who has been promoted to senior vice president for Asia Pacific and Japan sales for Symantec.
Before joining Symantec, he was the chief sales and marketing officer at Nelco, a Tata Enterprise, responsible for sales, marketing and product management. Prior to joining Nelco he was the managing director for India and SAARC at Avaya Services. Shitole has also held various senior roles at Cisco.
