Polycom has designed Polycom RealAccess services delivery platform to help IT administrators make smarter decisions, drive adoption and protect their unified communications and collaboration investments.
The videoconferencing solutions company said that the new platform improves performance by identifying issues quickly and proactively to improve end user experience. The platform also provides applications such as Asset Management, Analytics and Video Library.
Asset management provides detailed insights into endpoints including information on where and what solutions.
Customers can make data driven and evidence based decisions with data and metrics on utilization, capacity and performance, provided by the analytics. Video library helps people to use collaboration tools with short training videos.
The company has also offered Polycom RealPresence Platform and endpoints through state-of-the-art monitoring, management, hosting and transformation services, allowing IT departments to spend more time on their strategic priorities. The platform monitors, detects and resolves new issues or threats to current infrastructure.
Organizations using Polycom VVX business media phones can now have Polycom VVXSeries for Lync to help optimize their networks and infrastructure.
The Polycom RealAccess services delivery platform and Polycom Managed Services are globally available from Polycom and certified partners.
Polycom VVX Services for Lync will be available in late spring.
“Polycom’s new services provide a clear roadmap for success from planning and evaluation through deployment and ongoing operations,” said Navin Mehta, Polycom senior vice president of Global Services.
Last month, Polycom and Microsoft joined hands to deliver video collaboration solutions for Skype for business.
In January, Videoconferencing solutions vendor Polycom announced audio and video innovations to aid enterprises.
