Lufthansa Industry Solutions has joined hands with Kony, enterprise mobility solutions provider, to enhance mobile enterprise portfolio.
Lufthansa will use Kony’s mobile application development platform for the conception, development and management of mobile enterprise applications.
Additionally, the technologies and tools offered by Kony will be used by Lufthansa to meet specific needs of customers.
Keeping BYOD in mind, users can develop applications based on a single software code to be designed for various devices using Kony mobile application development platform.
In addition, companies can tailor applications more quickly and efficiently, which reduces costs and speeds time to market.
“We will be able to offer our customers an even broader portfolio of mobile solutions tailored to their needs,” explains Bernhard Kube, vice president of Technology Consulting at Lufthansa Industry Solutions.
In March, Localiza selected Kony to build mobile applications for its rental, local franchise, fleet solutions and pre-owned car sales businesses.
In November 2014, Farmatodo, self service pharmacy and retail chain, deployed Kony to increase customer loyalty and rapidly deliver new services with highly rated mobile applications.
