Adobe launches Comp CC for iPad to create designs

Adobe has launched Comp CC, a new Apple iPad application that lets designers to take their design ideas for new websites, mobile applications and printing objects.

Adobe’s new iPad App lets designers sketch out layout ideas on iPad, creates concepts and then move to the Adobe Creative Cloud tools to create production quality work.

Adobe Creative Cloud tools include Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC and InDesign CC where the design work can be perfected.

The application works between mobile and desktop and gives developers access to several features like images, text styles, graphics, shapes, brushes and more and colors stored in the Adobe creative profile and Creative Cloud libraries.

The Creative Profile allows the designers to work across devices and apps as they move from app to app and desktop to device.

Creative Cloud mobile apps provide Illustrator Draw, Illustrator Line, Photoshop Sketch, Adobe Shape CC and Adobe Color CC to the Comp CC.

Adobe Comp CC is free for the iPad and is available on the App Store.

“With Comp CC we have simplified the design process, helping creatives take their initial layout designs in iPad and make them the basis of high impact finished work on the desktop with Creative Cloud,” said Scott Blesky, vice president, products at Adobe.
