Accenture to acquire Agilex to enhance digital biz

Accenture Federal Services (AFS) will acquire Agilex Technologies to enhance its digital capabilities in analytics, cloud and mobility for federal agencies.

Accenture did not disclose the financial details.

The strategic acquisition of Agilex Technologies, a provider of digital solutions for the U.S. federal government, will also add agile delivery expertise to advance Accenture’s ability to deliver value to its clients.

“Combining our digital capabilities and agile methods will accelerate our ability to help clients to utilize emerging digital technologies and rapid, predictable systems deployment for the federal government’s most complex challenges,” said David Moskovitz, Accenture Federal Services chief executive.

Agilex focuses on the mission and IT requirements of federal agencies and currently serves the Departments of Veterans Affairs, Homeland Security and Commerce, among others.
