WebNMS, a provider of network management platform for IoT and other connected applications, said it will showcase its applications and platforms for service orchestration and IoT management at the CCA Annual Convention. The event will be held during October 7 to 9 at the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center.
“Competitive carriers need to rapidly introduce and scale new services using end-to-end network management solutions as well as save significant operational cost utilizing a unified platform,” said Darryl Stork, regional director of WebNMS.
Stork noted that the Symphony Orchestration Platform and IoT Application Platform are both open solutions that enable rapid response to market demands.
Symphony Orchestration Platform offers unified service orchestration of Carrier Ethernet, MPLS, NFV and SDN networks . Meanwhile, the IoT Application Platform enables the creation of innovative monitoring and management applications. It is said to be the first open IoT platform to support remote monitoring, energy management and location tracking.
WebNMS said the Symphony Orchestration Platform and the IoT Application Platform are currently available.
In August, WebNMS launched new location and vehicle management capabilities for IoT platform.
The technology helps enterprises extract value from remote physical plant, vehicle fleets and shared or leased portable equipment while reducing their total operational expense (OPEX). Some of its applications include tracking real-time security, energy usage, environment and operational condition of remote infrastructure such as cell towers, windmills, ATM sites, data centers (DCIM) and transportation systems.
