VoltDB today announced the appointment of David Flower as president and chief executive officer.
David Flower had most recently served as the company’s chief revenue officer. David Flower has built shareholder value for global software companies, and will focus primarily on expanding VoltDB’s footprint in specific markets.
Since joining VoltDB as chief revenue officer last year, David Flower has re-architected the company’s go-to-market strategy, achieving:

# Expanded value-based messaging to more effectively demonstrate core product value

# Restructuring of Sales & Marketing by vertical
# International expansion to support the rapid growth of clients
Prior to joining VoltDB, David Flower served as vice president EMEA for Carbon Black.
David Flower has held senior executive positions in numerous global software companies, including Everbridge, as senior vice president International; Compuware, as vice president EMEA (APM division) and UK managing director; Gomez, as vice president EMEA; and MapInfo, where he served as group vice president, International. He also held senior management roles at Lotus Development and Xerox.
