Talli Raises $4 mn

Talli, a digital payments platform for the legal industry, has raised $4 million in a seed funding round led by Vestigo Ventures. The VC funding round will advance Talli’s aim to modernize legal payments, targeting inefficiencies like manual processes, unpredictable reimbursement cycles, and high transaction costs.

Talli’s platform streamlines client settlements and reimbursements, using digital and AI solutions to improve speed, transparency, and cost-effectiveness for legal service providers.

Oyster Secures New Funding

Oyster, a global employment platform for distributed teams, has received new funding from ServiceNow Ventures. Oyster has achieved valuation of $1.2 billion. Oyster has raised $291 million to date.

The VC funding will support Oyster’s goal to simplify global hiring by consolidating payroll, compliance, and employment tools for 180 countries. Backed by strategic investors like LinkedIn, Salesforce Ventures, and Slack Fund, Oyster is set to expand its specialized customer experience team and make cross-border hiring as easy as local hiring.

Writer Raises $200 mn

Writer, an enterprise-focused generative AI platform, secured $200 million in Series C funding at a $1.9 billion valuation The round was co-led by Premji Invest, Radical Ventures, and existing investor ICONIQ Growth, with participation from investors including Salesforce Ventures, Adobe Ventures, B Capital, Citi Ventures, IBM Ventures, and Workday Ventures. Existing investors Accenture, Balderton, Insight Partners, and Vanguard also supported the round.

Writer plans to use the funds to advance its generative AI capabilities for industries like healthcare, retail, and finance, enhancing productivity in complex enterprise workflows.

Shiru Secures $16 mn

AI-powered ingredient discovery platform Shiru raised $16 million to support the growth of its ProteinDiscovery.ai, a tool that helps industries such as food, agriculture, and personal care to discover plant- and microbe-based ingredients.

S2G Ventures led the round, with participation from CPT Capital, Lux Capital, Nourish Ventures, and Meach Cove Capital. This funding will allow Shiru to expand its ingredient portfolio and commercial partnerships, aiming to cut R&D costs and speed time to market.

ScaleOps Raises $58 mn

ScaleOps, specializing in automated cloud resource management, announced a $58 million Series B funding round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and including NFX and Picture Capital.

ScaleOps plans to use the investment to enhance its AI-driven platform with predictive scaling and intelligent pod placement, offering up to 50 percent cost savings on cloud resources. The funding will support ScaleOps’ goal of easing friction between application owners and DevOps teams by automating cloud resource allocation.
