The U.S. Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) extended its indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) Global Installation Contract with Serco, a provider of professional, technology, and management services, for three years.

Serco supports the Navy with the installation and testing of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems.

Utilizing this extension, the company will compete for tasks under the $1.4 billion contract ceiling.

Serco delivers services in the areas of program management, engineering design, and installation support services at shore facilities and on surface ships, submarines, and other Navy and DOD platforms.

The work will continue to be performed on the east and west coasts, and additional locations worldwide. In the first five years of the contract, Serco was awarded approximately 250 task orders, valued at almost $300 million.

“Since 2011, Serco has been delivering high quality services and solutions to our Naval customer under this contract and we are proud to support the Navy’s ship & shore C4ISR modernization efforts,” said Dan Allen, Chairman and CEO of Serco Inc. “Our team comes to work every day with a focus on delivering operational excellence for the Navy’s afloat and shore-based systems.”

Serco has supported SPAWAR with C4ISR solutions for over twenty-five years and has completed over 1,000 integrated installations on ships and at shore facilities worldwide.

Serco has also provided C4ISR installations for other federal agencies including the Air Force, Coast Guard, Customs and Border Protection, and port authorities throughout the United States.
