Transworld selects Oracle and KPIT for new technology platform

Shipping and logistics company Transworld Group has selected Oracle India and KPIT to develop an integrated technology platform.

Oracle will provide the cloud-based technology platform that will improve operational efficiency and empower 1,000 plus employees of Transworld Group to deliver better satisfaction to customers and vendors.

KPIT will be the implementation partner.
Oracle business for CIOs
The technology platform will enable standardization of all key business functions across all the group companies. These include finance, operations, procurement, supply chain and even HR, to eliminate manual intervention and introduce far operational efficiencies.

Transworld Chairman Ramesh S Ramakrishnan; Oracle India Managing Director, Shailender Kumar and KPIT MD and CEO, Kishor Patil, signed the agreement.

Transworld will leverage technology enabled solutions and customer connect e-platforms to provide real-time information, business process and digital customer interface. The company will be incorporating new emerging technologies like blockchain, adaptive intelligence and IoT.
