Splunk, a provider of software platform for real-time Operational Intelligence, has appointed GE Capital CIO Snehal Antani as chief technology officer (CTO).
Antani will work with Guido Schroeder, senior vice president, products, and Stephen Sorkin, chief strategy officer, to direct the vision for Splunk technology across Splunk’s expanding cloud, mobile, on-premises and hybrid offerings.
Antani will report to Godfrey Sullivan, chairman and CEO of Splunk.
Previously, Antani served as CIO for multiple divisions of GE Capital, responsible for driving business transformation, blurring the lines between business and IT, and cultivating ideas for competitive advantage.
Prior to GE Capital, Antani served in IT strategy and technology roles at IBM, including Emerging Technologies Lead Architect and Private Cloud Strategist.
