As per the partnership, AirWatch’s mobile security, device management and application management solution will be available to Siemens Enterprise’s customers.

“Mobility is a core part of enterprise communications, and the BYOD trend has reinforced the need for CIOs to proactively manage and support enterprise tools on a variety of consumer-driven devices,” said Chris Hummel, chief commercial officer, Siemens Enterprise Communications.

“Our partnership with Siemens Enterprise Communications offers businesses a secure mobile device and application management tool that integrates into a world-class UC platform,” said John Marshall, CEO, AirWatch.

Through this partnership, Siemens Enterprise Communications will introduce AirWatch’s mobility management solution via a referral program through Siemens Enterprise Communications channels. This will enable customers to address their needs for mobility management and security as a core part of their enterprise communication deployment of mobile UC solutions.
