The latest IDC report has revealed the market share of leading WLAN suppliers such as Cisco, HPE-Aruba, Ubiquiti, Huawei and CommScope during the fourth quarter of 2020.
Cisco’s enterprise WLAN revenues grew 2.4 percent in 4Q20. Cisco ended 2020 with full-year revenues declining 2.5 percent. Cisco has 42.7 percent share in WLAN market.
HPE-Aruba revenues rose 6.1 percent in 4Q20 and declined 1 percent for the full year. The WLAN share of HPE-Aruba remained at 13.5 percent in 2020.
Ubiquiti enterprise WLAN revenues increased 37.5 percent in 4Q20 and rose 22.3 percent for the full year. Ubiquiti has 8.4 percent share in WLAN market.
Huawei’s WLAN revenues rose 27.2 percent in Q4 and increased 14 percent in 2020. Huawei had 6.2 percent share in WLAN business in 2020.
CommScope (formerly ARRIS/Ruckus) revenues were flat in 4Q20 compared to the same quarter a year earlier, giving the company 4.8 percent market share.
Revenue for the combined consumer and enterprise wireless local area network (WLAN) market segments increased 17.9 percent in the fourth quarter of 2020 (4Q20) and grew 10.3 percent for the full year.
The enterprise WLAN revenues grew 10.3 percent in 4Q20 to reach $1.86 billion and 1.9 percent for the full year 2020, reaching $6.35 billion.
The consumer WLAN market revenue increased 23.8 percent in 4Q20 and rose 16.4 percent for the full year.
