The latest IDC report has revealed the market share of Cisco, Huawei, Arista Networks and H3C in the Ethernet switch business in Q2 2022.
Cisco’s Ethernet switch revenues rose 10.2 percent. Cisco has a market share of 42.3 percent in Ethernet switch business.
Cisco’s service provider and enterprise router revenue grew 4.1 percent. Cisco’s SP and enterprise router market share was 33.2 percent in 2Q22.
Huawei’s Ethernet switch revenue grew 9.4 percent in 2Q22. Huawei has a market share of 10.6 percent in Ethernet switch business.
Huawei’s combined SP and enterprise router revenue increased 5.3 percent. Huawei’s market share in SP and enterprise router was 32.8 percent.
Arista Networks saw Ethernet switch revenues increase 55.1 percent in 2Q22, giving the company 10.1 percent market share in the quarter.
H3C’s Ethernet switch revenue increased 4.8 percent in 2Q22. H3C’s Ethernet switch market share was 6.3 percent.
H3C’s combined service provider and enterprise routing market revenues rose 5.6 percent, giving the company 2.5 percent market share for 2Q22.
HPE’s Ethernet switch revenue declined 5.5 percent in Q2, resulting in market share of 5.5 percent in the quarter.
The Ethernet switch market revenue grew 14.6 percent to $8.5 billion.
The enterprise and service provider (SP) router market revenue rose 6.3 percent to $4.2 billion.
