Seagate Technology has hired Verizon executive Mike Palmer as senior vice president and general manager of Cloud Solutions.
Palmer, who spent nine years at Verizon, most recently as vice president, Product Strategy and Global Alliances, will be reporting to Seagate President Jamie Lerner.
At Seagate, Palmer will be responsible for the Seagate Public, Private and Hybrid Cloud offerings. He is leading efforts for the creation, delivery and support of these solutions for Seagate’s Managed Service Provider and Cloud Service Provider partners.
