SDN veteran Tom Nadeau joins Brocade from Juniper

Enterprise networking vendor Brocade has appointed Tom Nadeau as Distinguished Engineer.

Before joining Brocade, Nadeau served as a distinguished engineer at Juniper, where he was involved in the company’s SDN and NFV efforts. He has held similar roles at CA Technologies, Cisco and others.

With his experience in Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), Nadeau will be a vital resource in advancing the company’s open source SDN and NFV strategy and involvement, specifically related to the OpenDaylight Project and OpenStack initiatives.

SDN veteran Tom Nadeau joins Brocade from Juniper

During his 20-year career, Nadeau gained experience in developing standards, architectures and telecom strategies, such as MPLS. He is the co-inventor of more than 40 U.S. and International pending patents, 20 of which have been granted.

Nadeau will join the engineering leadership team of the Software Networking business unit at Brocade. Additionally, he will collaborate with the Office of the CTO on strategic initiatives.
