IT consulting and solution engineering services vendor Saxon Global has acquired Wit Innovation, an enterprise mobility solutions provider based in Bangalore.
The company did not disclose the size of the acquisition.
Wit Innovation, which has a delivery centre in Bangalore, focuses on financial services, health care, media, hospitality and entertainment sector.
The acquisition will enable Saxon Global to expand its worldwide technology portfolio with a key focus on enterprise mobility, Cloud and Business Intelligence.
In December 2012, Saxon Global has acquired Ideas Software and Consulting (ISAC Global) to boost Saxon’s expertise in big data analytics and web intelligence and complement its business intelligence and data warehousing solutions offering.

Wit Innovation, which was started in 2006, specializes in building products on smartphone’s and tablets for its global clientele. It has worked with clients across 16 countries during the last 7 years and built products and expertise working on platforms ranging from iOS, Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phones among others.
