Savvis, a provider of cloud infrastructure and hosted IT solutions, has appointed Gery Messer as managing director for its Asia Pacific operations.
Messer, who joins Savvis from NGA, will lead strategic expansion initiatives in the region with focus on growing the global and enterprise business throughout Asia Pacific.
Messer will be based in Singapore.
Messer joins Savvis from NGA, where he was responsible for all the company’s Asia Pacific , Middle East and Africa operations, including sales, marketing, research and development, and customer service.
He also worked with Red Hat, EMC, Deloitte, SAP and IBM.
