SanDisk introduces SSD Concierge Service to enable PC upgrade

SanDisk has introduced, SSD Concierge Service, the first SSD upgrade service with live video support for SanDisk solid state drive (SSD) installations.

The new service is designed to simplify upgrades for consumers of all technical backgrounds.

The company said upgrading an aging laptop with an SSD can improve performance and is more cost effective.

Additionally, SSDs run cooler, create less noise and use less power, which helps extend laptop battery life and reduce the strain on limited system resources.

SSDs also outpace traditional hard-disk drives (HDDs) with advanced flash memory storage and faster speeds.

Company officials said consumers can upgrade their laptop as the SanDisk SSD Concierge Service provides the required tools.

Consumer can migrate data as well as install the new SSD and later can schedule a video conference via mobile device with a SanDisk technician.
