Talari, a provider of network reliability and business continuity solutions, has appointed Randy Schirman as its vice president of worldwide sales.
Schirman joins Talari from Riverbed Technologies where he served last as senior vice president of worldwide channels and service delivery initiatives.
In December last year, Riverbed appointed Keith Hoskison, a former Aruba Networks and Cisco executive as SVP, Worldwide channels and Strategic Account programs, replacing Schirman who had been running worldwide channel organization since October 2010.
Since then Schirman was serving as senior vice president, service delivery, at Riverbed.
At Talari, Schirman reports directly to president and CEO Emerick Woods.
Commenting on the new development, Schirman said, “It’s an honor to be part of the team that’s setting the standard by which all future intelligent solutions will be measured.”
Schirman will help Talari expand and enable their reseller base and lead their sales team to new heights, said Woods.
