Riverbed India appoints Nagendra Venkaswamy as vice president

Riverbed Technology today announced the appointment of Nagendra Venkaswamy as vice president for India and SAARC region — responsible for driving the company’s growth and expansion strategy.

Prior to joining Riverbed, he served as a mentor to startups in India. Previously, he held several senior executive positions in the region, including managing director, India and South Asia, Arista Networks — responsible for building operations of the company in the areas of cloud and datacenter operations.

He also served as president of Tejas Network and managing director at Juniper Networks.

“As application performance has become equal to business performance, companies in India are turning a greater focus to harnessing technologies that deliver greater visibility and control of their IT environment,” said Nagendra Venkaswamy, vice president, Riverbed, India and SAARC.
