Red Hat CTO Brian Stevens will step down from the open source solutions company with immediate effect.
Red Hat did not share any specific reasons for the exit of Stevens.
In the interim, the office of the CTO will be managed by Paul Cormier, president of products and technologies at Red Hat.
The company did not say whether it would be looking for a new CTO or not.
