Managed cloud service provider Rackspace has appointed Brian Kelly as chief security officer.
Kelly will be responsible for overseeing physical and information security efforts for Rackspace and its customers.
He will report to Mark Roenigk, chief operating officer of Rackspace.
Prior to Rackspace, Kelly worked with Ernst & Young’s Executive Director where he modernized and transformed enterprise security programs while driving business value.
Before that, he served Deloitte & Touche, where advised clients on security and risk assessment, technology strategy, incident response, and served as the interim corporate information security officer for a Fortune 50 company.
