Pure Storage announced the appointment of VMware veteran Ajay Singh as chief product officer (CPO).
Ajay Singh will report to Pure Storage chairman and CEO, Charles Giancarlo.
In this role, Pure Storage will further the company’s focus to create an unrivaled product portfolio that delivers a great customer experience, contributes to Pure’s growth, and extends industry leadership in data and storage management.
Ajay Singh will have responsibility for all of Pure Storage’s business units as well as the Global Alliances team focused on developing strong partnerships with important technology partners. Ajay Singh joins Pure Storage from VMware, where he led the company’s transformation to the cloud as the general manager of the Cloud Management Business Unit.
