Polycom has appointed Citrix Systems executive Shirish Joshi as APAC channel sales director and will be responsible for channel programs, driving business for Polycom partners, and strengthening go-to-market and distribution strategy.
At Citrix Systems, Joshi was the channels and alliances director for the ASEAN region – responsible for building and managing the partner ecosystem for several business areas such as enterprise mobility, cloud services, and desktop & application virtualization.
Joshi has previously held various leadership roles for Cisco Systems from 1996 – 2011, where he managed regional channel sales teams that met annual targets in excess of $700 million across the region.
