Polycom chief operating officer and chief financial officer Eric Brown has decided to leave the video conferencing company.
This follows Polycom’s decision to eliminate the position of chief operating officer to streamline the organization and focus on driving operating performance.
The company’s chief accounting officer, Laura Durr, will have the role of an interim chief financial officer effective till Polycom conducts an executive search for a new CFO.
The operations and services functions will now report directly to Peter Leav, president, and chief executive officer.
