Plintron, a provider of Cloud Communications Solutions, has crossed the 50 million subscribers mark by providing mobility services for 50+ MVNO businesses in 21 countries.

Plintron, which started its operations in 2008, crossed the first 10 million subscriber mark in 2011 and crossed the 25 million mark in 2013. The company added the next 25 million subscribers in 24 months.

The U.S.-based Plintron offers Cloud Communication Platform (MVNE) and Cloud Communication Services (MVNA) to enterprises to launch their mobile services on a reliable platform.

The company’s Cloud Communication Platform (MVNE) offerings include Network Sub systems (NSS), Business Support Systems (BSS) and Operations Support Systems (OSS) including white labeling of SIM.

The highlights of the offerings are local mobile number portability for acquiring subscribers in the matured market and regulatory compliances for the local countries.

Plintron has its own telecom R&D labs to build the MVNX components for the various market needs. The Cloud Communication Service (MVNA) includes wholesale airtime, contract management, numbering resources, regulatory compliances and interconnects for MVNOs as one-shop services to launch their commercial service.

“We feel that the three key USPs of Plintron, Faster Go-to-Market, Cloud-based Communication Solutions and Lower TCO has helped Plintron attain this success. We will reach double the current subscriber number in next couple of years,” said Mohan Kumar Sundaram, co-founder and chairman of Plintron.
