Payoneer taps Kaminario for storage

Payoneer, global payments company, has selected Kaminario’s K2 all-flash array for the company’s data centers replacing its current hybrid storage system.

Payoneer has ordered storage system for its data center in New Jersey after checking EMEA results which will act as disaster recovery sites for each other.

The company said upon completion of installation, Payoneer’s online payment platform, management systems and BI system will run on Kaminario K2.

According to Payoneer, it has selected Kaminario because its K2 is the only all-flash array to both scale up and scale out without performance degradation.

Additionally the storage solution of Kaminario allows for a larger volume of data to be stored in less storage space, brings significant savings in floor space and power consumption.

“We chose Kaminario because of its consistently high capabilities at the customer service level provided in the online transaction system for any workload environment, as well as support for analytical business processes performed by the company’s BI systems,” said Yaron Weiss, vice president of IT operations at Payoneer.
