Palo Alto Networks hires Intuit executive Lucas Moody as CISO

Palo Alto Networks, a security company for enterprises, today announced the appointment of Lucas Moody as chief information security officer (CISO) – responsible for protecting information and technology assets of the company, while contributing to product innovations.

Most recently, he served as director of information security operations and engineering at Intuit. Lucas also has held senior security positions at eBay, KPMG and Oracle.

Meanwhile, Palo Alto Networks said its revenue grew 55 percent to $297.2 million for its fiscal first quarter 2016 ended October 31, 2015. Its net loss for the fiscal first quarter 2016 was $38.7 million compared with net loss of $30.1 million for the fiscal first quarter 2015.
