Pacnet has expanded its services offerings in India.
The company’s enhanced international connectivity solutions — IP Virtual Private Network (IP VPN) including MPLS, Ethernet International Private Lines (EIPL), International Private Lines (IPL), IP Transit and Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) — are aimed at enterprise and carrier customers in India.
Currently, Pacnet has Points of Presence (PoPs) in Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, and New Delhi
“We continue to see the trend of Enterprises based in India expanding into international markets, especially into the Asia Pacific Region, as well as companies based in the United States, Europe, and Asia-Pacific with needs to connect their locations in India,” said Cardi Prinzi, president, Enterprise Markets, Pacnet.
“The extension of Pacnet’s international connectivity footprint in India solidifies our presence in the market as a provider of world-class solutions,” said Sunanda Das, managing director, Pacnet India.
Pacnet owns high-capacity submarine cable systems with over 46,000 km of fiber and connectivity to interconnected data centers across 16 cities in the Asia-Pacific region.
In March 2013, Pacnet said it would invest $90 million to build a new Tier III data center in Singapore. The new data center will address the region’s demand for connected, advanced data center and managed services.
