The Storefront
Samsung has partnered with analytics vendor Quividi for presenting an intelligent digital storefront solution that offers real estate for attracting customers and projecting the brand at NRF 2015.
The solution uses Quividi’s image sensing technology to count actual viewers and opportunities to see, while measuring attention times and dwell times and estimating the gender and age distributions of a retailer’s audience. Retailers can use this real-time analysis to target content to engage shoppers.
The Showroom
Samsung — in partnership with ComQi and Freshwater — will demonstrate an assistive selling kiosk utilizing RFID to deliver dynamic product information and suggested accessories to shoppers, with or without the assistance of a salesperson.
The Loading Dock and Warehouse
Samsung will demo Galaxy Tab Active that is ideal for working in challenging retail environments including the loading dock and warehouse. With IP67 dust and water resistant certification, the Galaxy Tab Active features Samsung Knox enterprise security platform.
The Back Office and Corporate
Samsung offers a mobile manager that enables managers to spend more time on the sales floor and less time in the office by providing real-time sales, inventory and personnel management and communication with headquarters and other internal teams.
