NRF 2015: Epson brings latest POS solutions

Epson America will present the latest Point of Sale (POS) solutions from its partners at NRF 2015.

Epson’s OmniLink enables printing from any mobile device, access to cloud services, mobile POS deployments, support for tablet-based POS and control of peripherals.

The OmniLink DT-Series delivers computing power that supports flexible POS configurations as well as robust peripheral connectivity and control from any mobile device.

In addition, several partners will feature Mobilink mobile receipt printers, CaptureOne check scanners and Epson POS printers.

Epicor will showcase its Retail Store solution utilizing the Epson OmniLink TM-T88V-DT. The demo includes a touchscreen user interface, POS keyboard, bar code scanning and full electronic payment functionality to illustrate how the OmniLink platform can be configured to replace POS systems with a more compact yet robust all-in-one POS solution.

Software Business Solutions Consulting will showcase its 4690/ACE system software emulation on Epson’s OmniLink TM-H6000IV-DT that allows OmniLink to function as a standard touchscreen register in an IBM 4690 POS environment.

E-Resto will showcase its POS cloud-based software system with electronic invoicing running on Epson’s OmniLink i-Series. The system runs in the cloud, is integrated with mobile devices, and handles billing, operation and management, reducing cost and optimizing staff. Customers can create an account from the E-Resto website and start using it seamlessly in less than five minutes.

IVAN will showcase its iPOS by IVAN (Internet Point of Sale), the first mobile POS software for the retail industry, running on Epson’s OmniLink TM-T88V-i smart device. iPOS by IVAN creates a local cloud allowing retailers to gain access from iOS, Android, Windows 8 mobile devices, and desktop computers.

Livelenz will showcase LiveScore, its cloud-based software solution integrated with an Epson OmniLink i-Series smart device, demonstrating how merchants can leverage real-time transactions and in-store data analytics.

Mobivity will showcase the SmartReceipt solution with an Epson OmniLink i-Series smart device allowing retailers to gain access to a number of dynamic receipt functionalities, including print, digital, and data-driven marketing solutions without any upgrades to existing software.

Satcom will showcase its electronic invoicing solution running on an Epson’s OmniLink i-Series.

Squirrel Systems allows merchants to go beyond traditional options and leverage cloud, mobile and a host of others tools independent of their POS systems to drive increased foot traffic and wallet share across the retail and hospitality client base.
