NETGEAR sets up SMB solution center in Bangalore, to launch in Delhi soon

Infotech Lead Asia: NETGEAR has set up its first demo center in Bangalore, India. The center will focus on developing business solutions across switching, storage and wireless range of products.

The new Customer Demonstration Center and Training Facilities will offer a complete pre-sales experience and a better understanding of the products to the users.

“India is the nerve-center of our R&D activities. It is a big part of our growth story,” said Patrick Lo, CEO and chairman of NETGEAR, and “opening of the demo center at Bangalore is one step forward in this regard”.

NETGEAR, which is widely recognized for providing wireless solution to the end users, is also a one stop shop for SMBs & Enterprises with portfolio of switches, storage and wireless networking products.

“The concept of demo center has become an integral part of the IT market. It helps the firms in showcasing their products and capabilities and is a must for their growth,” said Subhodeep Bhattacharya, regional director, India and SAARC, NETGEAR.

Through this demo centers, the company will provide its customers with first-hand information on the products and their benefits. It will also help the company develop stronger relationship between NETGEAR and its customers.

In the near future, NETGEAR plans to invest substantially in opening demo centers across various strategic locations throughout India. The next one in pipeline will be in Delhi, the company said. This will help NETGEAR cover both North and South India market.

Netgear’s Beamforming+ improves Wi-Fi coverage

In April this year, Netgear  announced support for Beamforming+ on the Netgear R6300 802.11ac Dual Band Gigabit Wi-Fi Router and the Netgear A6200 802.11ac Dual Band Wi-Fi USB Adapter. This follows the launch of its R6250 Smart Wi-Fi Router that offers optimal wireless coverage for large homes.
