Netgear reveals price of new NAS products

Infotech Lead India: Netgear has revealed the price of its new networked-attached-storage (NAS) products which run on ReadyNAS OS 6.

The new NAS products are aimed at both the home and small to medium-sized businesses (SMB).

Netgear has priced ReadyNAS 100 series at a starting price of Rs 12000.

The price of ReadyNAS 300 Series starts at Rs 30000, while the price of ReadyNAS 2120 is Rs 80000 and ReadyNAS 500 Series at Rs 80000.

In a 23 May 2013 note, Dell’Oro Group said that IT vendors in the combined Enterprise-Class and Outdoor Mesh Nodes category that increased revenue share the most in the first quarter versus the prior quarter on a percentage point basis were Cisco Systems and Hewlett-Packard.  In the SOHO market,Netgear was top-ranked by shipments, followed by Technicolor.  In the Service Provider WiFi market, Cisco Systems, Ericsson and Ruckus Wireless were the top three vendors by revenue.

Meanwhile, Netgear also unveiled new downloadable applications for these products on the genie+ marketplace.
