NEC India announced the launch of UNIVERGE SV9000 series of communications servers in India.
The new offerings will include the SV9100, SV9300, and SV9500 platforms, which will serve a range of customers from small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) to large enterprise customers, the company said.
NEC also launched new terminals including the DT800 and DT400 series. Additionally the company has plans to launch UT880, an innovative new-generation desk phone integrating a traditional desktop phone and a tablet into one unified device.
SV9500 communications server is available as virtualized software providing the first full evolution of the SV enterprise-grade telephony system. The product supports virtualization, enabling businesses to absorb UC over a private cloud or a public cloud or over a hybrid cloud, the company said.
Since the SV9500 is available as both a dedicated appliance and as software, enterprise customers can choose the solution that best fits their business strategy. NEC UNIVERGE SV9000 Series will bring UC to all three segments of businesses; SMBs, mid-market and large enterprises.
With its UC solutions, NEC targets vertical markets such as hospitality, healthcare and education. In addition, the SV9000 series continues to support powerful customer care solution, NEC said.
