NEC India has introduced its Near Field Communication (NFC) and Face Recognition Solution (FRS) technology, providing complete social infrastructure for retailers to offer better customer experience at Retail Technology Conclave.
In a statement NEC said NFC technology enables users to conduct secure, contactless payments and transactions with their NFC-enabled mobile phones instead of using cash or credit cards.
NEC has provided an end-to-end cloud-based e-payment system called NFC e-Money server that integrates itself facilitating interactivity between devices (the NFC enabled phone and PVR wallet access), for any monetary transactions.
“NEC India aims at strengthening its focus on the retail as well as the entertainment industry. Solutions like NFC will be complemented with security solutions like NEC’s Face Recognition will empower retailers to acquire customer loyalty and enhance customer experience through its ease of use,” said Koichiro Koide, managing director, NEC India.
