NCR announced its digital signage deal with Bojangles, a restaurant chain in the U.S., for deploying NCR Vitalcast digital signage solution at its company-owned locations.
Founded in 1977 in Charlotte, N.C., Bojangles has 699 system-wide restaurants including 301 company-operated and 398 franchised restaurants, primarily located in the Southeastern United States.
Bojangles will utilize the digital signage solution with visually compelling animations and messaging to attract food and beverages users. Approximately 25 Bojangles’ restaurants have installed the NCR Vitalcast digital signage and additional restaurants will install in 2017.
The digital signage solution will provide the opportunity to Bojangles’ restaurants to showcase a variety of food and beverages with high resolution product shots and video to enhance the overall guest experience.
The digital signage solution from NCR will be cost effective for the regional restaurant chain to update information in real-time, feature new and limited time products, and display nutritional information.
Randy Poindexter, senior vice president of marketing for Bojangles, said enhancing the guest experience is a pillar of its corporate strategy. The restaurant chain will unveil its new restaurant concept supported by the latest restaurant technology.
Vitalcast features provide flexibility to promote specific menu items during different day parts, localize content and add regional menu item variances. In addition to providing the Vitalcast software, NCR is supporting the installation with content management services.
