IT solutions provider Mphasis has appointed Cognizant Technology veteran Jai Ganesh as vice president & head of Mphasis Next Labs.
Mphasis Next Labs focuses on research and innovations, thought leadership and industry relevant solutions — leveraging innovations in business & technology to drive technology disruptions.
Jai will lead Mphasis Next Labs to focus on disruptive and transformational innovations in the SMAC (Social, Mobility, Analytics and Cloud), IoT and Automation space through applied research, IP Creation, thought leadership and new product, service, platform and solution development.
At Cognizant Technology Solutions, Jai was the director, SMAC Solutions – managing the innovation, technology strategy, research, IP Creation, thought leadership and new product development. He led the creation of the Customer Engagement Platform, which is a patent pending Big Data Analytics platform that transforms enterprise decision making.
Prior to Cognizant, Jai was the principal research scientist for Infosys where he headed the Pervasive Computing Institute in Infosys and led innovation, technology strategy, research, IP creation, thought leadership, product and service innovations.
